2025 Foals

Our spring babies have started to arrive....

Anna Bell - Update: Anna Bell gave birth to a cute dark-spotted boy (Picasso) out of New Moon on 20. May 2025. He is active and full of energy and is a normal sized baby. He looks double the size of Khaleesi's foal though. Anna Bell is a pro and knew exactly to wait at the gate to be let into the barn so that she could have her own stall to relax. This is her last baby and will be retired.

Khaleesi - Update: Khaleesi gave birth to her first baby (Karita) on 9. May, 2025, the smallest baby ever born here on our farm. She is a red-base FSW out of Firecracker. Khaleesi is doing a wonderful job with this little one. She is a cute little girl that has lots of energy and love to give. At two weeks old, I finally got myself to allow her into the pasture with the rest of the group. However for the first three evenings her mom would not bring her back out of the pasture, so little Karita got a ride up the hill each evening. We are glad she doesn't weigh much and seemingly enjoyed the ride.

Ysabel - Update: Ysabel gave birth to her first baby, a cute little spotted boy (Lonato) out of Firecracker, on 24. April, 2024.

Malaga - Update: Malaga gave birth to a cute little brown/gray girl (Anemone) on 14. April 2025 out of Firecracker.

Shayla - Update: Shayla gave birth to a uniquely spotted little girl (Aloha) on 13. April 2025 out of Cash. I just love to look at her. It almost looks like there wasn't enough dark color to paint her left side.

Jacqueline - Update: Jacqueline gave birth on 9. April 2025 to a dark-spotted little boy (Calypso) out of Tomahawk.

Monsoon - Update: Monsoon gave birth to a beautiful dark-spotted girl (Lomasi) meaning "Beautiful Flower" on 1. April 2025 out of New Moon.

Pink Speckles - Update: Speckles gave birth to a cute brown spotted boy (Pinto) out of Tomahawk on 27. March 2025. His color is a light milk chocolate for his base coat. He is a super friendly little boy that demands attention.

Nubia - Update: Nubia as well was exposed for a fall 2024 foal. Being a first-time mom she was in the drylot for a long time to watch the experienced moms to have their babies. She gave birth to the cutest fluffy FSW boy (Motoskah) - meaning "white bear", out of Firecracker, on 21. February 2025. She is one of the first moms that enjoyed the heatlamp and kept herself and her baby right under it. We didn't even have to put a jacket on him. She is a good momy. We are just thankful that all went well considering this winter.

Pachuli - Update: Pachuli was supposed to have a fall 2024 baby but apparently that didn't work out for whatever reason. She had a beautiful little carbon copy of herself (Balsami) on 8. February 2025 out of Cash. With all the crazy weather this winter, Pachuli picked the absolute perfect afternoon to have this little girl. Pachuli has a very unique red/russet color that we have not seen very often in our decades of donkey involvement. Therefore, we will likely keep this little girl.
